This was one of Don’s first Jig Leeches and remains his favorite and most effective. Don always starts with this fly and changes colors as required.

Don’s Maroon/Purple Jig Leech
Don first used this fly on Stump Lake during an episode of SFOTF and had Dale and Brian Chan requesting the fly within an hour. Highly effective when the sun is high and the fish are feeding in deeper water.

Don’s Black Peacock Jig Leech
Don found this fly worked best on those dark gloomy days on the water when there is low light and plenty of clouds.
